Inox Wind has received Type Certification for 113 meter rotor diameter Wind Turbine Generator (WTG). The certification was awarded as per international standard GL 2010 by TUV SUD Gmbh, one of the world's leading technical service organizations. The company’s 113 meter rotor dia WTG, the newest variant of the company's market leading 2 MW platform, augments the company's turbine technology portfolio and has been tested to have one of the highest generation performances per kilowatt of all WTG variants available in India. For optimal utilization of wind resources, the 113 meter variant will be launched with multiple hub heights of 92 meters, 100 meters and 120 meters. The 120 meter tower will be the tallest hub height produced by Inox Wind, with the company being amongst the select few manufacturers with the capability to produce such tall hub heights. The 113 meter rotor dia WTG significantly increases Annual Energy Production and is especially suited for low wind segments in the country.
